how_photo21Embroidery & Screening

Embroidery is best on all apparel, hats, jackets, bags etc. Silk screening is best on T-Shirts because of the size of the design and colors used. Many business owners in the service field, restaurants and events use screening for advertising large on the back and then left chest. Another use is to pass out to customers as a thank you.

Evaluating Logos

Phoebe’s Custom Embroidery evaluates your logo or design to determine the size that will work best. Lettering is one of the most important aspects so that it reads clearly and crisp. 1/4-inch is just about the smallest we can use, although with the years of experience in digitizing we can do much smaller letters in small areas of the design. A standard logo has 5,000-7,500 stitches.

Large detailed designs and logos have upwards to 100,000 and more stitches and anywhere between 2-3 hours to embroider. This type of design should be on heavier material like a jacket, denim or patch which then is sewn to the garment. On polo weight materials it will sag and be heavy.

Once your logo or design has been digitized and you have chosen your apparel the next thing we do is pick the thread colors that fit your design. We can change the colors according to the color of the apparel.

You will receive a sample sew out for approval before we embroider on your items. Phoebe’s Custom Embroidery uses backings and toppings to assure beautiful embroidery.
